For more than a decade Fair Grounds has been Norfolk’s premier independent coffee shop. Opened in 2001 by Elliot Juren, Fair Grounds has become a fixture in Ghent serving thousands of loyal customers each year. We offer locally produced baked goods and fair trade coffee and tea and work with community organizations, musicians and artists to host events and fundraisers. Hosting events is our way of giving back to the community that has supported us for so many years.

Recently we came under the management of new owner Mike Dimirsky who immediately set about making some changes such as adding new items to the menu and replacing some furniture. There is more to come and we’re looking forward to serving new and old friends for years to come!
